THE GENDER ISSUE

Gender Violence Issues are often, if not always, seen as "Women Issues".

JK makes the argument that they are not only both gender issues but really mostly "men issues".

"Calling Gender Issues "Women Issues  is part of the problem for a number of reasons. The first being that it gives men the excuse not to pay attention." "It gives the dominent group the ability to go un-challenged" when they really are the perpetrators.

His speech goes way beyond basic and simple feminism, way passed the stereotypes.

He makes the argument that i have always made when people would ask me why i felt so strongly about african-american and native-american histories and struggles (being jewish from europe, basically it is neither my national history nor my ancestors' at all):
Because it it part of my history, the HUMAN BEING history.

A must watch for all men and women.

Brilliant, just brilliant.
